中文摘要 | 臨床上長久以來已知腎臟癌具有高度抗藥性。與甲型多重抗藥性基因相 關之細胞膜上醣蛋白gp-170為癌症行化學治療失敗的主要原因之一,本研究為探 討並進一步確定醣蛋白gP-170是否也在腎臟腺癌抗藥性扮演一部份角色,故採用 對抗醣蛋白gP-I7(在腎臟腺癌之表現,並與正棠腎組織之表現作一比較。結果顯 示在2(例正常腎組織中有6例(30)表現不同程度之醣蛋白gp-170,而30例腎臟腺癌 組織中也有9例(30)表現出不同程度之醣蛋白gp-170。此醣蛋白gp-170之表現率或 程度與腎臟腺癌之組織形態或腫瘤期別無關。此種與正常組織相同的腎臟腺癌醣 蛋白gp-170低表現率說明了可能有其它更重要之機轉負責腎臟腺癌之多重抗藥 性。 |
英文摘要 | Renal cell carcinoma has been known for its drug resistance in clinicalpatients. The multidrug resistance gene (MDR1)-related glycoprotein, gp-170in cancer cells, is one of the major causes of chemotherapeutic failure.To clarify the possible role of gp-170 in renal cell carcinoma, the expressionof gp-170 was examined immunohistochemically using an antibody againstgp-170 in normal kidney tissue and renal cancer. This study shows that 6out of 20 (30) normal kidney tissues had gp-170 expression while 9 out of30 (30) renal tumors had gp-170 staining. The gp-170 expression is notrelated to the tumor cell type or stage. The relatively low positive rate ofgp-170 in renal cell carcinoma with a similar expression rate in normalkidney tissue suggests that there must be other mechanisms participatingin the MDR of renal cancer. |
