| 中文摘要 | 臺灣紅豆杉近年來為頗受矚目之固有針葉樹種,多散生於本省中高海拔之針闊葉 天然林內,繁殖能力弱,且迭遭盜採, 為亟需保育之樹種。 本研究於溪頭以相對光度為 6 %、28 %、61 %、67 %及 100 %之全光組共 5 種光照處理進行光量試驗, 探究臺灣紅 豆杉苗對光量環境之適應能力,以提供天然復育更新及育苗造林之參考。 試驗結果顯示,臺灣紅豆杉苗之苗高、基徑及相對苗高生長於光照處理間多呈不同之效應, 以局部遮蔭處理者為佳,相對光度為 28 %之三年生紅豆杉苗高可達 57 公分,在全光及 6 %之低光者均不利苗高生長; 基徑生長亦以 6 %低光者最差,相對苗高則以全光下之苗木 為最矮,而以弱光( 6 %及 28 %)者為高。 在溪頭之光量環境下,光度增加有利於臺灣紅豆杉苗生物量聚積。而葉部形態對光量變化之 調整能力小。苗木之 TR 率、主根長、側根數與相對光度具顯著直線迴歸關係,亦說明光度 增強有利於臺灣紅豆杉根系生長,於全光下則限制其地上部生長,由上述結果顯示臺灣紅豆 杉苗受光量影響所呈現之形態可塑性高。 |
| 英文摘要 | Taiwan Yew (Taxus sumatrana), an endangered specics that scatters in natural forests of Taiwan, has been a main research interest in recent years. Due to its low reproduction rate, rarity and precious wood, efforts to conserve the species are now under way. This study intended to understand the effects of different light quantum environments on the seedling performance of Taiwan Yew. The results show that the seedling height and root diameters were significant different under the five treatments considered. At year 3, the average height was 57cm for seedlings grew under 28 % of full light, while seedlings grew under 6 % of full light and under full light reached to an average height of 20 and 30cm, respectively. For root diameter, except for the seedlings grew under 6 % of full light, which had the smallest average root diameter, no significant difference was found among the rest of the treatments. As to relative height, at year 3, seedling grew under 28 % of full light had the highest relative height, while seedlings grew under full light had the lowest relative height. Regression analyzed shows that light intensity had a positive effect on seedling dry matter accumulation. This positive effect could also be found on the seedling primary root length and number of lateral roots. The effect of light inetnsity on the seedling TR ratio, however, was a negative one. The results of this study demonstrated that light intensity had an important role in the development of the seedlings of Taiwan Yew. The results also suggested that the seedlings of Taiwan Yew might have a high plasticity with respect to light intensity. |
