英文摘要 | 本研究利用地形定年法對全省八個主要河階群作對比之研究。大體而言,富田氏 所定義之高位河階面( LT )大致形成於三萬年前,而低位河階面( FT )則形成於三萬年 內。然而位於沈降區的潮洲扇階群卻發育了相當年輕而且比高較低的高位河階面。顯然以階 面是否紅壞化和比高作為河階對比的依據,並非全體適用。臺灣地區紅壞化的時間與條件猶 待深入探討。至於河階臺地的成因則受構造運動,海水準變動與氣侯的影響。比較河階臺地 的比高與階數可知,近期的陸地升降運動對它有著顯著的影響。三萬年前的海水準大幅降低 ,可能也造成大部份的 LT ( I )面被切割。 而自三萬年以來,當全球海水面巨幅升降之 際,臺灣的河流依然能夠發育數階之低位河階,氣侯的變動應是主要的控制因素。最後,各 河流系統對各變動所產生的複雜反應,應是決定各階面發育時間的主要控制因素。 s for lateritization in Taiwan remain to be studied. The main factors affecting the development of river terraces also include tectonism, eustatic change and clmimatic changes. Loca tectonic activity plays a principal role in the evolvement of the relative height and the number of levels of river terraces. The idssection of most LT(I) surfaces can be attributed to the decrease in the global sealevel around 30,000 B.P.. As a result, climatic change has caused the formation of the FT surfaces in different regions of Taiwan since the last glacial in spite of drastic eustatic changes. Above all, the complex responses of a river system to tectonism, eustasy and climate have controlled the timing of the formation of river terraces in different regions. |
