英文摘要 | 臺北盆地西部三口岩心五股一號、板橋二號及蘆洲一號的花粉化石研究顯示,本 盆地係中更新世以來的沉積,經歷了至少三次暖 -- 冷氣侯變遷。古氣侯變化及其伴生的海 水面昇降和新構造特性影響盆地沉積甚大。 盆地於中更新世之間冰期( PwIII )時開始形 成,時間可能在約三十餘萬年前。當時盆地周圍為亞熱帶常綠闊葉林,以苦櫧屬為主的森林 ,林下有蕨類生長;接著氣侯轉冷,當今分佈於高兩千公尺以上的松柏類下遷到盆地周緣( PcIII )。其次,為一暖溫卻無明顯潮濕的時期( PwII ),海水可能入侵盆地較低部。之 後,氣侯轉乾,為一以乾燥為主的冷期,海水面降低( PcII ),盆地周緣為草原或森林草 原,主要為禾本科等草本生長。 此後進入晚更新世,包括上次間冰期( PwI )及上次冰期 ( PcI )。上次間冰期時,海水再度入侵盆地部份地區。 進入上次冰期以來,乾冷現象不 若以前的冰期強烈,且在其中段有一較濕暖的小暖期,小暖期內季風加強並可能驟雨。此時 的雨量可能將以前乾冷時堆於山腳的礫石帶至平原,形成精粒沉積,為盆地的主要含水層。 全新世的暖濕現象由孢子及苦櫧屬優劣的組合所示,而此時大規模海進則由盆地上部沉積中 豐富海相化石得知。 erbs. Marine incursion occurred in part of the basin at least, as indicated by the low diversity of benthic formainifers in the Panchiao Core. The later cold-dry climate of Cycle II (PcII) is characterized by herb-dominant assemblages in the fluvial-lake deposits. The warm climate (PwI) of Cycle I correlates with the last interglacial and is distinguished by periods of high temperature and heavy precipitation alternating with less warm and less wet interludes. The last glaciation (PcI) is relatively less cold and less drier compared with previous glacials, except for the dry phase of the LGM. If the three cycles represents the main interglacia-glacial cycles since middle Pleistocene, the earliest age of the basin sediments would be in between 0.3 to 0.4 Ma. The interstadial moist of the last glacial stage might be reclated to the deposition of thick, large-sized conglomerates in the basin. The Holocene (Hw) is manifested by the relatively higher percentage of Castanopsis. the earliest Holocene has organic-rich layers suggestive of a relatively warm, wet climate. Holocene transgression is clearly recorded in the estuarine deposits of the sequence. |
