中文摘要 | 本研究建構一座連續式厭好氧活性污泥系統,並分別取其厭氧段及好氧段污泥,添加乙酸以進行 PHAs生產之好氧批次實驗,藉以比較兩污泥於生產 PHAs時,其代謝行為及相關動力計量特性之差異。實驗結果顯示好氧段污泥生產 PHAs之代謝行為與厭氧段污泥明顯不同,且好氧段污泥於生產 PHAs過程中,無論 PHAs 含量、比基質攝取率 (-qs)、比 PHAs生產率 (qp)、PHAs轉換係數 (YP/S) 等各項動力與計量指標,均較厭氧段污泥為佳,分析其原因顯示此乃因好氧段污泥具較高之胞內聚磷酸鹽與肝醣含量所致。經比較兩污泥於生產 PHAs過程之碳源結算情形,發現好氧段污泥具較高之碳源利用效率。此外,兩污泥生產 PHAs之組成結構均為 P (3HB-co-3HV) 共聚合物型式。 |
英文摘要 | This study compared the Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) production behavior of sludges from the anaerobic zone and oxic zone of anaerobic-oxic activated sludge process by using aerobic batch experiments fed with acetate as the sole carbon sources. The kinetics and stoichiometric coefficients from the batch experiments were calculated to evaluate the performance of these two sludges for PHAs production. Experimental results indicated that the metabolic behavior of anaerobic sludge for PHAs production differed significantly from that of oxic sludge. Besides, the oxic sludge exhibited better PHAs production performance than anaerobic sludge in terms of the kinetics and stoichiometric indexes of the PHAs production, including PHAs content, specific substrate uptake rate (-qs), specific PHAs production rate (-qp) and Yield of PHAs (YP/S). This superior PHAs production behavior of oxic sludge was further verified in this study to be its higher internal storage of polyphosphate and glycogen. Comparing to the anaerobic sludge, the oxic sludge had greater efficiency of carbon utilization with the viewpoint of carbon balance. Additionally, the PHAs structure obtained from these both sludges were P (3HB-co-3HV). |
