中文摘要 | 隨著個人行動通信服務時代的來臨,結合衛星行動與陸地行動的全球個人行動通信服 務已漸趨成熟,將可提供用戶在任何時間、任何地點、不同的網路系統間隨心所欲、無遠弗屆 的漫遊而達到完整的通信服務。電信自由化以後,衛星行動通信必將成為電詻經營者丑取客戶 的重要利器。 本文主要的目的是以技術的觀點,針對Iridium, Globalstar, Odyssey和Inmarsat-P等四個系 統進行評估比較。同時,將進一步評估此四個系統的優力點,提供一個綜合性的分析。 |
英文摘要 | The development of global mobile communicatins have grown rapidly over past decades. The next generation of mobile communication services combining land-based Cellular systems and satellite mobile systems will realize and achieve the communication services at any time and places with ubiquitous roaming capability. Accompany with the future telecommunication privatization and deregulation in Taiwan, the dual-mode or triple-mode handset will be an attractive selling strategy for the market of mobile communications. In this paper, four of the proposed LEO/MEO mobile satellite communication systems, Iridium, Globalstar, Odyssey and Inmarsal-P are evaluated technically. The system architecture, the satellite and user handset designs, and the multi-access technology of each system are analyzed respectively. In addition, the spectrum allocation, respective finance structure and current funding cumulative status for each system are also described. |
