中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討國小五、六年級學生之科技素養,以暸解國小學生的科技素養是否有城鄉差異、年級差異、性別差異。 本研究的樣本是從高雄地區國小五、六年級學生 (90733人)中抽出的,樣本人數包括五年級女生480人,五年級男生479人,六年級女生525人,六年級男生539人。本研究的科技素養包括科技四大系統 (傳播科技、運輸科技、營建科技、製造科技素養)。 本研究利用t考驗、變異數分析及薛費氏法作事後比較,以探討國小學生技素養是否有城鄉、年級、性別之差異,其主要結論有下列五點: (1)都市國小學生的整體科技素養優於鄉鎮國小學生,且在各科技系統,均有顯著差異。 (2)國小男、女學生在整體科技素養上,未達顯著差異。 (3)國小六年級學生的整體科技素養優於五年級學生,且在各科技系統,均達顯著差異。 (4)國小學生在任一科技系統有較佳素養,其它各科技素養亦佳,呈現高相關。 (5)國小學生在各科技系統的素養,經事後比較結果:傳播科技素賽最佳,其次運輸科技素養,再其次營建科技素養,最後是製造科技素養;且達顯著差異。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to inverstigate the technological literacy of the fifth and sixth grade studcents in the elementary school. It was to determine if students who differ in residency, gender, and grades, also differ in their technological literacy. The sample of students for this study was selected from the fifth and sixth graders in Kaohsiung area with a total population of 90,733. The sample consisted of 480 Grade 5 girls, 479 Grade 5 boys, 525 Grade 6 girls, and 539 Grade 6 boys. The instrument was the Survey of Technological Literacy including four subscales: Communication, Transportation, Construction, and Manufaction. T-test, analysis of variances and posteriori procedures-Scheffe method were utilized in determining the differences between urban and rural schools, girl and boy students, Grade 5 and Grade 6 students. The five major conclusions based on the findings of this investigation were as follows: (1) The urban students performed significatly better than the rural students on the overall technological literacy and glso on each subscale. (2) No significant differences were found between girl and boy students on their overall technological literacy. (3) Sixth graders performed significantly better than fifth graders on the overall technological literacy and also on each subscale. (4) There were significant correlations among the subscales of general technological literacy. (In other words, if the student gains the better score in one technological literacy subscale, he will have better literacy in other subscales.) (5) Significant evidences were found that student's performances on the subscales of techno logical literacy could be ranked from high to low as: Communication, Transportation, Construction, Manufaction literacy. |
