中文摘要 | 自本省南部某發病豬場進行豬隻滲出性表皮炎疫情調查和Staphylococcus hyicus subsp. hyicus之分離鑑定。共調查9批總頭數8260頭小豬,結果顯示該場滲出性 表皮炎於1993年5月份發病率(27.8%)及致死率最高(57.5%),這與5月份其母豬普遍罹患乳 房炎、子宮炎、無乳症候群(Mastitis-metritis-agalactia; MMA)有正性相關,顯示小豬感 染本病與母豬的狀況有絕對關係。此外,罹病小豬亦以新母豬所生的比率為最高(81.8%)。從 363檢體包括自罹病仔豬、母豬體表、母豬陰道、正常仔豬體表等共分離出231株(64%)S. hyicus subsp. hyicus,且豬舍欄杆也有44.1%以上的分離率,這亦顯示環境污染程度與本 病發生之關係。分離株經進行細菌莢膜判定試驗及利用小雞與小豬皮下接種試驗,結果顯示 具莢膜分離株有較明顯致病性;且從蛋白電泳亦發現有致病性之毒力株可產生較多不同分子 量的細胞外產物,但非毒力株之胞外產物即使經相對濃縮後,亦不若毒力株之細胞外產物明 顯。將此濃縮細胞外產物進行小豬之皮下接種試驗,毒力株胞外產物於接種2天後即可發現 皮膚層顯著增厚,鏡下亦呈現棘狀細胞增生等病變,但總體病變仍以接種全菌之實驗組為較 明顯。 |
英文摘要 | An epidemiological survey of swine exudative epidermitis was conducted in a contaminated farm in southern Taiwan and a total of 8260 piglets were investigated during the period from 1992 to 1993. The highest morbidity (27.8%) and fatality (57.5%) were noticed in May while the mastitis-metritis-agalactia syndrome (MMA) was outbreak in sows and gilts during the same period. Moreover, most of the affected piglets were delivered by gilts (81.1%) and suggested that the deliverer condition may be associated with swine exudative epidermitis. Total 231 strains of Staphylococcus hyicus subsp. hyicus were isolated from the body surfaces, vaginal mucosa of affected sows and gilts or even from normal piglets. The serum soft agar method was used to distinguish S. Hyicus outer membrane capsule; in addition, bacteria contain capsule was found to be more virulent according to the results of subcutaneous injection in young chicken and piglets. Furthermore, the virulent strains were found to produce more extracellular proteins in comparison with the non-virulent strains in SDS-PAGE. Histopathologically, the inoculated area was exfoliative, hemorrhagic, and necrotic and the stratum corneum was more loosely and dilated in the experimentally piglets after 2 days injected with extracted extracellular products. However, lesions were found to be markedly progressive and had more intensive inflammatory reactions if injected with whole bacteria culture of virulent strain. |
