中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討國中、小低成就資優生的家庭影響,包括家庭的價值觀念、家庭 教養方式等家庭特徵及其對資優生低成就的影響。 本研究屬第二年的後續研究,第一年受訪的九個家庭組成成長團體,參考低成就資優 生家庭影響特徵的描述,規劃進行十週,每週二小時的父母成長課程並輔以個別輔導,以 行動研究的方式,幫助低成就的資優生發揮潛能,提昇成就,並以質的研究法,探討家庭 經營及教養方式是否因父母成長團體與輔導等家庭介入而改善,也進一步探討此種改善對 提昇孩子成就的影響。 本研究發現如下: 一、成長團體及輔導,有助家庭經營及親子關係。 二、成長團體及輔導,有助父母教養方式的改善,並因而提昇孩子的表現,其影響如下 : (1)改善親子溝、少嘮叨,有助瞭解孩子,增進親子關係;(2)重視孩子課業,改變讀書 習慣,有助課業表現;(3)父母教養方式一致,有助提昇教育效果;(4)訂定合宜期望標準, 有助提昇孩子的抱負水準,激發努力動機;(5)以積增強的管教方式取代負面管教,有助親 子關係及子女課業表現;(6)給孩子合理的空間,有助學習效果的提昇;(7)落實有效的教養 策略,是孩子進步的關鍵。 |
英文摘要 | To develop student's potentialities and help them succeed are important educational goals. If gifted students' abilities are not fulfilled, their performance is lower than expected and thus end up in underachievers. Not only will this decrease students' self-realization, increase their frustration, but also harm the development of a society and country. Using qualitative methods, the purpose of this study was to investigate gifted underachievers' family impact including the characteristics of value systems, family relationships, parenting styles and their impact on gifted underachievers. This project was the second year's research. Nine families interviewed in the first year formed a parent growing group. Based on the description of the family characteristics, family intervention was conducted by growing group program integrated with counseling lasted 10 weeks with two hours meeting per week. Action study was used to help gifted underachievers develop their potential and enhance their achievement. The qualitative method was used to investigate family intervention's impact of parenting improvement on children's performance. The research findings were as follows: 1.Parent growing group integrated with counseling has improved family management and relationships. 2.Parent growing group and counseling has improved parenting strategies and further enhanced children's performance through the following characteristics: (1)Improving communication between parents and children and lessening nagging help improve their understanding and relationship. (2)Emphasizing children's school work and improving children's study habits help enhance children's performance. (3)Coordinating consistently between father and mother helps enhance parenting effect. (4)Setting realistic goals helps enhance children's motivation and achievement. (5)Instead of negative parenting, positive parenting helps enhance children's performance and family relationship (6)Independent training helps enhance learning effect. (7)To enhance children's achievement, the sky is effective parenting strategies need action. |
