中文摘要 | 影像增強技術為數位影像處理的重要問題。本文針對常用的分配圖等化法所遭遇 的實際問題進行分析。分配圖等化法通常對於較密集分佈的灰度有增強對比的效果。但是往 往使大面積的背景過度被強調而小面積的部份卻被忽視。因此,本文中提出以最大相關準則 對影像作分區的運算,並由此求出每一區的相關。相關的大小,正反映該區所含資訊量的多 寡,亦可作為決定灰度動態範圍的依據。本文即是在分配圖等化法中融入相關的概念,提出 一個修正的分配圖等化法。最後將以實驗結果證明,修正後的方法確實有較佳的視覺效果。 |
英文摘要 | Image enhancement technique is of particular importance in digital image processing. A conventional method is called histogram equalization. In this report, practical problems of applying such a method will be discussed. These problems stem from the fact that this method will over-emphasize the region consisting of pixels which are frequently presented. On the other hand, contrast of the region with gray levels which are rarely presented will be suppressed. This may cause that the background possesses most dynamic range whereas some regions of interest are ignored. An improved algorithm based on maximum correlation criterion is proposed to avoid the above disadvantage. Correlation can indicate the amount of information of a set of random data. The dynamic range in each region is determined according to the correlation it contains. Experimental results will be given to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. The result shows that the visual properties of processed image by our method are better than those by histogram equalization. |
