| 中文摘要 | 利用磁地層與生物地層〔浮游性有孔蟲、鈣質超徵化石〕之整合,我們自海岸山 脈上新一更新世、快速沉積之馬達吉達溪剖面中,獲得了十二個定年資料的時間表。此一 剖面跨距的年代自小於3.40 Ma以迄約1.15 Ma,其中僅記錄一期的 Olduvai正向,厚約770 公尺。此外,位在礫石泥岩層中,有一長時期的地層缺失,其約始自2.92 Ma以至2.l Ma。 本研究對兩個浮游性有孔蟲化石基準面:FAD of Gr. truncatulinoides及 FAD of Gr. tosaensis 的層位亦作了修訂。 |
| 英文摘要 | Through the integration of magnetostratigraphy and biostratigraphy (planktonic foraminifera and calcareous nannoplankton), a high resolution time scale with twelve quantitative ages is obtained for the rapidly deposited sequence of the Plio-Pleistocene Madagida-chi Section, Coastal Range. The section ranging from <3.40 Ma to about 1.15 Ma contains only one normal magnetic polarity: Olduvai subchron which spans about 770m in thickness. In addition, a longterm strata hiatus located in the pebbly mudstone is dated from about 2.92 Ma to 2.1 Ma. Also, the stratigraphic levels of two planktonic foraminiferal datums: FAD of Gr. truncatulinoides and FAD of Gr. tosaensis are revised in this study. |
