英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to explore how an experienced mathematics teachers' educator, Mr. Fu, became inspired by his own teaching journey through a three-year education course for preservice mathematics teachers. Mr. Fu conducted a three-year action research into designing curriculum materials for this course. This research study using a case study approach interpreted Mr. Fu's teaching journey. The researcher sat in Mr. Fu's class and took part in his research group discussion for the first year of the three-year course. Research data were collected from the classroom video recordings occurring in the first year, as well as from interviews with students, members of Mr. Fu's research group, and with Mr. Fu himself, across three years. Mr. Fu's research documents were also used. Results indicated that Mr. Fu was inspired by the idea of "getting rid of", which gradually modifying his teaching style. This may serve as inspiration to the teachers' educators who are as similarly experienced in research as Mr. Fu. |
