中文摘要 | 由於現代化機械系統日趨複雜,其實務經驗之專業人員又非常缺乏,再 加上因故障導致之財務損失已非昔日可比,因此專家系統已逐漸成為機械維護 計畫中不可或缺之一環。目前在工業國家中已開發及開發中之專家系統種類包 羅萬象功能各異,而電廠採用專家系統之目的也不盡相同,有的高度依賴專家 系統偵測機械故障、有的則將其作為異訊偵測之基本工具再由專業人員作最後 分析與評估。 從電廠營運經驗顯示,迴轉機械振動問題是導致電廠停機之主要原因,過去當機 械有異常現象需作精細分析時,必須將偵測儀器運送至現場,因此,專業人員為 了維護廠內所有迴轉機械之正常運作往往因人力不足或儀器不敷使用而感到心 餘力拙,如今電腦科技已-1,分普遍,因此利用電腦化偵測系統將迴轉機械振動 資訊透過電訊設備傳遞到維護中心作統籌處理者已比比皆是,唯一的困擾是這些 偵測儀器產生出大量振動資訊令專業人員窮以應付,要解決這些難題就得借重專 家系統的功能和協助。 本計畫之目的是在於調查和評估迴轉機械振動診斷專家系統(EXpeL七SyS七 emfO芷vIbLatIOnaImonR。LIngOFL。七atInge解uIP-ment)在美國之研發及應用狀 況,工作重點包括實地採訪或以電話討論方式與儀器製造廠商、電廠、美國電力 研究院、以及專家系統科技顧問公司等單位的專家們討論專家系統之研發及落實 情況,目前大部分美國電廠都在採用PMS(Protective Monitoring System)或 PMSPC(PMS with Plant Computer),前者偵測機械異常警訊、後者兼俱警訊電腦分 析功能,而機械故障分析及最終因應辦法仍由專業人員自行負責辦理。在美國電 廠中不敢輕易採用專家系統在大型迴轉機械上者為數不少,主要原因是迴轉機械 結構尚屬複雜,而專家系統技術研發猶待驗證,萬一因誤判而導致重大財務損失 實非電廠所能承擔,因此有許多電廠依賴機械原製造商(Original EquipmentManufacturer)或專業技術顧問公司來協助電廠解決運轉和維護上的疑 難,但這並不表示臺電不需單獨研發一套創設性之診斷專家系統、因為國內對迴 轉機械俱實務經驗之顧問公司並不可多得。 |
英文摘要 | The need for expert systems as part of an equipmentmaintenance program stems from the complexity of the systemsinvolved, the high cost associated with failure and limitednumber of experts in the field. A variety of expert systems arenow in existence or under development for power plantapplications. There are substantial variations in the way thatutilities plan to use expert systems. Some organizations useexpert systems as primary tools for diagnosis of faults. Othersutilize expert systems for preliminary (in-plant) diagnosiswith subsequent detailed analysis and confirmation by humanexperts. Studies have shown that vibration problems in rotatingmachinery are the primary cause of forced outage in a powergeneration plant. The specialists often find themselves caughtin a difficult position to take care of all of machinery. In thepast, when machine analysis required an extensive set ofseparate diagnostic instruments, ther were not enough instru-ments (or people) available to cover all the potential troublesites, permanently installed computerized machinery monito-ring systems can now transfer data from machinery sites to acentral location on a regular basis. However, these systemstend to produce so much data that the machinery specialist does not have time to evaluate them thoroughly. The solutionto these problems can be addressed by the expert system. The objective of this project is to assess the developmentand applications of expert systems for rotating equipment inthe United States. The work consisted of discussions withrotating machinery instrumentation vendors, several utilities,the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) program managerfor steam turbines and several experts in the field of rotatingmachinery analysis and monitoring. The results of this studyindicated that majority of the U.S. utilities are using theprotective monitoring systems (PMS) either alone or tied intothe plant computer for trending and alarm of their turbinegenerators. Detailed analysis of potential malfunction oftenrequires the specialist to look at the instruments individually.Some utilities were against the use of expert systems becauseof the great consequence if a mistake is made. In general, U.S.utilities tend to rely on original equipment manufacturers(OEM) or service vendors to monitor and diagnose importantrotating machineries, such as reactor cooling pump shafts andturbo - generators. This does not necessarily imply, however,that Taiwan Power Company should cease to continue itspresent effort in developing an expert system of its own, asexperienced and knowledgeable service vendors are not readilyavailable locally. |
