中文摘要 | 本文旨在探討德國「繼續教育」的概念與制度發展,並回顧本世紀以來繼續教育理論思潮演變之經過,以為鳥瞰當前德國繼續教育現況之基礎。德國「繼續教育」的概念起源於十八世紀末到十九世紀初之間的「國民教育運動」,而後並結合了其職業教育的發展。除了繼續教育的概念與現況描述之外,為期深入探討德國繼續教育的精神與風格,本文也從教育史的角度,敘述其教育思潮演進的過程及所呈現的發展特色。本世紀德國的教育發展可依時代精神與教育思潮的發展特色劃分為以下三個階段。 (一) 五○年代初期以前充滿新人文主義或人格主義的風格; (二) 五○年代末六○年代初開始轉向教育唯實主義; (三) 七○年代末到八○年代開始教育學的反省批判並轉向生活世界的概念。 目前生活世界導向的繼續教育在德國仍在發展之中,尤其具有再深入探討的價值。 |
英文摘要 | This study examined the notion of extended education in Germany and investigate the development of the German extended education system. In order to provide an overview of the current state of German extended education, the author reviewed the theoretical trends on German extended education since the beginning of the 20th century. The origin of the notion of extended education was dated from the Folk Education Movement in Germany between the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century, in connection with the following development of vocational education. In addition, the author provided a historical perspective on the character of the development of German education by identifying three periods of time, which were the era of neo-humanism or personalism prior to the beginning of the 1950s, the era of education realism between the late 1950s and the early 1960s, and the trend toward educational reflection and criticism as well as the notion of life world between the late 1970s and the early 1980s. At present, the life-world orientation in German extended education continues to develop, and, therefore, deserves further exploration. |
