中文摘要 | 本研究選用6061鋁合金模擬探討鋁矽鎂合金基地內之初生鋁(pri-α)在時效析 出過程中機械性質與品質指數( Quality Index )之變化, 希望藉此對鋁矽鎂合金時效過 程中品質指數之變化趨勢能予以適當分析歸納,所施予之時效處理,包括單一溫度時效、兩 階段時效、及重溶與再時效處理。 實驗結果顯示,120 ℃之恆溫時效較 180 ℃時效者可得 較高之品質指數, 但達到最佳品質指數所需之時效處理時間則相對地增長許多。 參考 ASM 手冊中 6061 鋁合金之抗拉強度與延伸率之時效曲線可得知,在 225 ℉( 107 ℃)至 375 ℉( 191 ℃)溫度範圍內, 最高品質指數出現在時效時間約為抗拉強度時效曲線高峰所需 時間的 1/4 至 1/5 處。實驗結果亦顯示,二段時效( 120 ℃ +180 ℃時效)比 120 ℃一 段式時效處理可大幅縮短其總時效時間,而仍保持相同之品質指數。對等量之時效時間而言 ,二段時效者較 180 ℃一段式時效處理可得較高之品質指數。 而本研究所採用之重溶與再 時效處理條件所得到之機械性質與品質指數與一段式 180 ℃四小時時效處理者相差不多。 由本研究鋁矽鎂合金之時效特徵可知,適當之兩段式時效可大幅減少時效處理時間且具有良 好之品質指數。 |
英文摘要 | A 6061 Al alloy sheet is used in this study to investigate the aging behaviors of quality index of the pri- α phase in Al-Si-Mg alloys. The aging treatments adopted include single-step isothermal aging, two-step aging, and retrogression and reaging. The results showed that, for single-step isothermal aging, the maximum quality index value of the 6061 Al alloy specinen obtained for the 120 ℃ isothermal aging process was higher than that for the 180 ℃ aging process and that the time to reach the maximum quality index value was longer for the lower temperature aging process. In reference to the tensile stress and elongation aging curves of 6061 Al alloy shown in the ASM handbook, it was found that in the temperature range from 225 ℉ (107 ℃ ) to 375 ℉ (191 ℃ ) the maximum quality indexes appear at a time roughly equal to 1/4-1/5 of the aging time to reach the peak tensile strengths. A two-step aging process composing of preaging at 120 ℃ for a certain time period, followed by aging at 180 ℃ could effectively shorten the aging time while maintaining high values of quality index. The retrogression and reaging process used in this study resulted in comparable quality index value to that of one-step isothermal aging process performed at 180 ℃ for 4 hours. |
