| 中文摘要 | 傳統的差值脈衝編碼調變(DPCM)是一個即時決定的影像編碼法,因此此法只局限 於小區域的最佳化並導致在稜邊有極大的失真。為了要改進該缺點,本文以延遲編碼的觀念 應用於差值脈衝編碼調變而提出樹狀編碼法。本法主要是在累積一群足夠大的像素群後,再 對該像素群做最佳的量化編碼。因此,本法能夠獲得較完全的最佳化並保存極佳的稜邊品質 。此外,本文再提出一分類的內插樹狀編碼法以降低位元率。經電腦模擬結果,無論在壓縮 率或影像品質上,以所提出之分類的內插樹狀編碼法實現影像壓縮都比內插式的區塊捨去編 碼法,向量量化,與差值脈衝編碼調變更佳。 |
| 英文摘要 | Conventional differential pulse code modulation (DPCM) is a coding scheme with an instantaneous decision such that it constrains the optimization to be local and the large degradation of the edge is generated. To improve the disadvantage, in this paper, the concept of delayed decision coding is applied to the DPCM to propose the tree coding scheme. The tree coding scheme is to accumulate a sufficiently large group of data and, then, quantize the group of data based on the minimal mean square error. It can be obtained more global optimization than conventional DPCM and preserves the edge quality. In addition, a classified interpolative tree coding scheme is proposed to reduce the bit rate. The simulation results indicate that the bit rate and the image quality with the proposed classified interpolative tree coding scheme are much better than those with interpolative Block Truncation Coding (BTC), Vector Quantization (VQ), and DPCM. |
