中文摘要 | 基於分子生物學上蛋白質生合成觀點,在mRNA裡面,啟動蛋白質合成首要成分是甲硫胺酸衍生物(Formylmethionine-tRNA),因此大量快速合成蛋白質時候,甲硫胺酸需要量比其他胺基酸要多許多。考慮泌乳牛在乳房裡面快速合成乳蛋白及探討甲硫胺酸對泌乳牛影響,將51頭泌乳牛分成兩組,對照組依一般飼料來飼養,試驗組則於飼料中額外添加甲硫胺酸0.2%,比較兩組之間差異,結果試驗組比對照組之泌乳量,蛋白質及乳糖含量改善許多。在臺灣三月初至五月初之間對照組泌乳量下降13.9%而試驗組僅下降2.5%,或說泌乳量上升11.4%。乳蛋白質,則對照組下降0.07%,而試驗組則上升0.09%,乳糖含量對照組下降0.16%,而試驗組上升0.10%。但是乳脂肪率,試驗組減低0.43%而對照組則減低0.26%,甲硫胺酸添加對高產乳泌乳牛較有助益,由試驗証明,於飼養期間,天氣由涼(16℃)轉熱(27℃)過程中,泌乳量急速下降以及乳蛋白及乳糖下降可因甲硫胺酸補充而獲得改善。顯示熱帶地區泌乳牛飼養,甲硫胺酸補充將具有特殊意義存在。 |
英文摘要 | Formylmethionine-tRNA functions as an initiation codon for starting protein synthesis. High concentration of methionine is therefore required during the synthesis of large quantity of milk protein by lactating cows. An experiment was conducted with 51 lactating cows which were divided into two groups. One group was fed a basal ration as control group while, the other fed with excess methionine as treatment group. The result showed that milk yield decreased 13.9% for control and 2.5% for treatment group from March (16℃) to April (27℃) in Southern Taiwan. The milk protein content decreased 0.07% and lactose decreased 0.16% for control group, and protein increased 0.09% and lactose increased 0.01% for treatment group. However, the fat content of treatment group decreased 0.43% and control group decreased 0.26%. It was concluded that the higher the milk production of the lactating cow, the more additional methionine supplement would be needed, which indicated that methionine supplement was important to the lactating cows in the tropics. |
