中文摘要 | 本研究提出一簡便方法取得電子束銲接鎖孔效應之氣柱形狀,並探討表 面張力效應對氣柱形狀及熔池行為的影響,研究發現,氣柱形狀與熔池輪廓有比 例關係,銲寬是由表面張力梯度產生的熔池流動所決定,將表面活性元素導入材 料內,於特定溫度範圍內,可獲得正的溫度係數值,表面活性元素的存在,有縮 窄銲寬及提高銲深之作用,但相對使銲道變得較不穩定。為了證實表面張力效應 的影響,於是在6061Al合金中適量添加表面活性元素鉛,促使溫度係數由原來的 負值轉為正值,結果顯示氣柱開口明顯縮小、銲深略微增加,並有週期性的崩潰 現象。顯然,發生在電弧銲中的Marangoni效應,亦能應用在電子束銲接的高銲 深機構上,並且獲得令人滿意的解釋。 |
英文摘要 | In the present study, a method to obtain the cavity shape during electron beamwelding was developed. Also, the effects of surface tension on the cavity shape and weld pool behavior was investigated experimentally. The results showed that: The proportionalrelationship between the cavity shape and the fusion zone contour, and the weld width depends well on the fluid flow motion driven by .surface tension gradient were evident. Materials that contain surface active trace elements exhibit a positive temperature coefficient over a limited temperature range. The existence of surface active element provides a substantially narrow deep weld, but resulting in an unstable weld pool manner. To evaluate the effect of surface tension, a suitable amount of surface active element, Pb, was added into 6061 Al alloy, then proceeds welding procedure. As the temp eraturecoefficient turns into positive, periodical shrinking of the cavity opening coupled with the increase of penetration occurs. Evidently, Marangoni flow, the most dominant factorcontrolling weld pool convection in GTAW, can well apply to explain the weld pool phenomena of keyhole mechanism. |
