中文摘要 | 本研究之主旨乃在探討我國傳統與蒙特梭利教育之幼兒的非正式與正 統數學能力是否有教育方法、性別與年齡之差異性,以及兩種教育之幼兒的數算 策略與錯誤型態是否有差異性。本研究以台南市四所幼稚園大班80名幼兒為受試 者(傳統與蒙式教育之幼兒各佔一半,年齡範圍自五歲半至六歲五個月,平均年 齡為五歲十一個月)以 Ginsburg與 Baroody(1983)所編製之 「幼兒數學能力測驗」 (The Test of EarlyMathematics Ability)為個別施測工具,再以t考驗與答對比例之Z 值比較、分析兩種教育之差異性。 研究結果顯示:在非正式數學能力方面,傳統教育之幼兒較優異,尤其是二十以 內之倒數、以十跳數與合理性數算等數算技能;在正統數學能力方面,蒙式教育 之幼兒較優異,尤其是四位數之數字讀寫與減法數字運算表心算之能力。除了在 合理性數算時,有較多蒙式教育之幼兒應用「以二跳數」之策略代替 「默數」 策略以外,兩種教育之幼兒在各種數算策略之應用上均無差異性。除了蒙式教育 之幼兒在數字接龍時有偏大數字之傾向,在加減心算與計算時有較多「自創式」 之錯誤策略以外,兩種教育之幼兒的數算錯誤型態或策略都極為相似。 |
英文摘要 | The purposes of this study were to investigate the ageand gender differences of children's informal and formalmathematics abilities and the differences of children'scounting and error strategies between the traditional andMontessori education. Eighty subjects ranged from 5 yearsand 6 months to 6 years and 5 months ( M= 5 years and IImonths) were selected from four kindergartens in Tainan (40children in each method ) . "The Test of Early MathematicsAbility" designed by Ginsburg and Baroody (1983) was used asan individual test of this study. Children's differences betweenthe tradition and Montessori education were compared andanalyzed by use of t-test and Z value of passing ratio. The results of this study showed that children with thetraditional education performed better on informalmathematics abilities ( i.e., counting backwards from 20, skipcounting by 10s, and rational counting ) . Montessori childrenperformed better on formal mathematics abilities ( i.e., readingand writing four-digit numerals and subtraction facts) . Inaddition that more Montessori children used the strategy of"skip counting by 2s" instead of "mental counting by Is" inrational counting; more larger numbers in "counting after me",and more "invented" error strategies in calculation, there wereno differences between two kinds of education concerningcounting strategies and error strategies. |
