中文摘要 | 本試驗以甘藷品種臺農66號之3個原原種藷苗,分別用組織培養和慣行之植藷苗等兩種繁殖法所得材料,在1994年夏作進行有重複的田間試驗,以分別組培苗對甘藷田間生產性能和變異性。由變方分析結果指出,甘藷組培苗與種藷苗間之莖葉收量與6種塊根品質特性之差異,均為不顯著,而塊根收量及其構成因素之差異,均達極顯著水準,表示組培苗之塊根收量極明顯的比種藷苗低。塊根收量構成因素分析結果顯示,組培苗塊根收量顯著的減低,可能是由於藷苗素質的差異所致。據觀察結果,組培苗受藷苗素質所產生之影響,可經由進行無性繁殖的過程,選用優良諸苗,而得排除。組培苗之植株形態,以葉形狀有稍大的變異,在收穫終期,其平均變異率為4.6%,其他性狀則與種藷苗相同。本試驗表示甘藷組培苗作為大量繁殖及生產無病毒的基本種藷材料,可能較為有用。 |
英文摘要 | Field performance and variability of sweet potato [Ipomoea batatas (L.) Lam.] propagated through two methods, including in vitro culture and conventional cutting-propagated methods, were compared in a replicated field experiment. Propagated materials were obtained from the same 3 healthy breeder's seeds of 'Tainung 66' and were conducted at summer crop season in 1994. The analysis of variance indicated that the differences in top yields and six characteristics of storage root quality between tissue culture and conventional propagated plants were not significant at the 5% level. However, the differences in storage root yields and its components between two propagation methods were significant at the 1% level. The plants derived from tissue culture had significantly less storage root yield than the plants propagated from vine cuttings. The analysis yield components indicated that the significant reduction in storage root yields of tissue culture plants may be due to differences in plant factors, of which the quality of planting material may be important. Based on the results observed, it is suggested that the effects of plant factors on the tissue culture plants might be excluded by selecting good vine cuttings through vegetative propagation cycles. Plants derived from tissue culture also exhibited a slightly larger change in leaf morphology. The average variation rate of leaf shape at final harvest time was 4.6%. No differences were found in other morphological traits of tissue culture plants. The present study suggests that in vitro culture of sweet potato might be useful for mass propagation and production of virus-free stock seed materials. |
