英文摘要 | Grinding is a machining process in which the material of a workpiece isremoved by the abrasives of the grinding wheel. In this paper, the importance ofthe cutting edge in the grinding process will be discussed. The difference betweenthe static and dynamic numbers of the cutting edge is covered. Then, the methodsfor the measurement of an effective number of cutting points will besystematically surveyed and the limitations of these methods are also included.Finally, the applicability of these methods to diamond grinding wheels will bestudied. |
