中文摘要 | 本所開發之網路進出伺服器(NAS)的 WAN 分直是由T1卡提供,此T1卡設計為個人電腦附加卡,透過卡上的雙埠記憶體與個人電腦溝通。本軟體描述此 T1卡在 window 3.1下的dual port RAM介面軟體設計。所有在雙埠記憶體上的memory buffer 皆串列第一個 link list然後視需要而設 allocate 或 release。 從架構上而言,所有的函式包括 initialization , transmission,reception,memory buffer allocation,及memory buffer release,皆寫 成動態連結程式庫 (DLL),然後經由另一程式 TISERVER 呼叫,以動態連結程式庫形式寫成 的函式較容易修改,且可省下大量記憶體。T1SERVER同時測量 T1卡速率及包含了使用者圖 形介面。 |
英文摘要 | The TI card provides the WAN access capability in Network Access Server (NAS) developed by Telecommunication Laboratories. This T1 card is designed as a PC add-on card and it is to be installed on the PC's extended slot. It communicates with the PC through its dual port RAM. This paper describes the software design of the dual port RAM interface module for the TI card operating under Windows 3.1 operating system. Specifically, memory buffers on the dual port RAM are linked together as a list and are allocated and released dynamically as data transmissions and receptions take place. Structurally speaking, initialization, transmission, reception, memory buffer allocation, and memory buffer release routines are coded as a Windows Dynamic Link Library (DLL) and then another Windows program named TISERVER calls these functions to transmit and receive data to and from the dual port RAM. Functions written in the form of the Windows Dynamic Link Library are easier to update and a tremendous amount of memory space is saved by using dynamic linking in a multitasking environment. TISERVER also tests the performance of the TX card and it features a graphic user interface. |
