中文摘要 | 本文首先文獻探討反對和贊成增修大學科學課程能否增強中小學自然科教學正反雙方的研究報告。繼而檢討和批評贊成此一觀點的理論性和經驗性的研究。並針對現行大學的科學教學進行批評。現行大學科學教學無法表現出科學的整體意義,這不僅無助於,反而有礙自然科教師的專業發展。 本文認為增修大學科學課程不足以增強中小學自然科教學,並且學科知識不是增強自然科教學的中心要素。最後,為成為有效的師資培養課程,本文建議大學科學教學應改進只重視內容知識而忽視程序知識,放棄食譜式實驗課採用任務取向實驗課;並加開與科學哲學、科學史有關的科目。 |
英文摘要 | In this paper, a number of studies for and against the notion that more exposure to college science can improve science teaching, were separately reviewed. Theoretical and empirical argument for this notion was examined and criticized. Current implementation of college science teaching was analyzed, in terms of its poor performance as a. science teaching model and incomplete introduction of science as a whole. It was suggested that college science courses be not sufficient to improve science teaching and subject matter knowledge be not central to science teaching. In the final section, some recommendations in modification of college science courses for improving college science teaching were made. |
