英文摘要 | In this paper, an experimental analysis for the dynamic response of a simple supported reinforcedconcrete beam under a concentrated impulsive loading is presented. When the intensity.of loading isvery great and its duration is very short, such as under high impact, the response of the beam will bedifferent from normal vibration. In this case, the dynamic response of reinforced concrete beam shouldbe taken place by the stress waves, flexural waves and the initial inertia force. By using a defined loadingparameter, we deduce a criteria to distinguish the three different failure stages: unfailure, single-plastichinge failure, three-plastic-hinge failure. After impact test, the locations of plastic hinge are measuredand compared with the analytical result. By observing the failure phenomenon, the damage near thecentral portion of the beam is controled by the stress waves, and the failure of the entire beam iscontroled by the inertia force. |
