中文摘要 | 澎湖北寮超基性擄獲岩中橄欖石之化學組成為FoFa�滿A其 結晶構造經X-光單晶繞射解析至最後R值為3.68%。本橄欖石之晶 室參數為a-4.760(1), b=10., 212(2), c=5.987(1)A;屬Pbnm對稱。 根據橄欖石依鎂鐵成份變化所形成的近線性晶室常數關係而言, 本橄欖石之a,b,c三軸長度皆比線性作圖之值為低;而b,c兩軸常 數比a軸更為偏離橄欖石之線性關係。另一方面就鍵長而言,矽 氧四面體、M1及M2八面體之平均鍵長皆小於橄欖石之成份變化線 性關係作圖之值;而矽氧平均鍵長又比M1-0及M2-0之平均鍵長更 為偏離線性關係曲線。本橄欖石之矽氧四面體、M1及M2八面體之 鍵結角則幾乎沒有變化。 本橄欖石之結構特性如較小的晶室參數以及較短的鍵長推論 與其結晶時之上部地函或下部地殼高溫高壓環境有密切關係。 |
英文摘要 | The crystal structure of FoFa�榣livine occurring in the harzburgite xenolith of an alkali basalt from the Penghu Islands has been analyzed and refined with X-ray single crystal intensity data to a final R factor of 3.68%. The unit cell parameters of this olivine are a=4.760(1), b=10.212(2)and c=5.987(1)A with Pbnm symmetry. Based on a nearly ideal linear relationship for olivines between forsterite and fayalite, all of the three cell dimensions of the a, b and c axes exhibit a negative deviation from the linear plot. The and c constants shift more significantly than the a axist which is consistent with the structural consideration. The average bond distances for the Si tetrahedron as well as the M1 and M2 octahedra also show a negative deviation from the linear relation in olivine. The mean Si-O distance displays a more profound negative shift from the linear plot than the mean M1-O and M2-O bond lengths. The average bond angles for the Si tetrahedron and the M1 and M2 polyhedra remain essentially unaltered. The structural characteristics involving smaller unit cell constants and shorter cation-oxygen bond distances are inferred as being colsely related to the high pressure and high temperature conditions of the olivine crystallization environment. |
