中文摘要 | 過去十年以來,越來越多的認知心理學者認為,學習電腦程式語言有助於學生解題能力的培養。然而,目前的研究顯示,傳統的程序化電腦程式語言(Procedural Programming Language)對於培養解題能力的效果並不顯著。另外一方面,目前有關於程式教學與解題能力關係的研究,大多忽略了探討不同形式的解題能力。有鑑於此,本研究旨在探討另一種型態的程式語言一邏輯程式語言(Logic-Based Programming Language)一對於培養程序思考(Procedural Thinking),敘述思考(Declarative Thinking),及條件思考(Conditional Thinking)能力的影響。 本研究結果顯示,傳統程式語言對於程序思考能力的培養較為有效,邏輯程式語言則較能促進敘述思考能力的發展。另外,對於條件思考能力的培養,傳統程式及邏輯程式語言則無顯著的影響。 根據研究結果,本研究對於未來教學實施的建議包括:(a)除了傳統程序化程式語言外,應考慮將邏輯程式語言包含於學校電腦課程中,(b)如果教導學生如何"思考"為未來教育的主要目標,應致力於發展能同時促進程序、敘述、及條件三種思考能力的電腦教學環境,(c)以邏輯程式語言來培養學生解決日常生活問題的能力。此外,對於未來相關領域的研究,本研究亦提供新的方向及建議。 |
英文摘要 | Over the past ten years, more and more cognitive psychologists have advocated the use of programming instruction for developing cognitive skills. This study investigated the effectiveness of a logic-based programming environment on three areas of problem-solving skills: procedural thinking, declarative thinking, and conditional thinking skills. Findings of this study indicate that procedural programming is effective in developing procedural thinking skills, while logic programming is effective in developing declarative thinking skills. Neither programming environment had a significant effect on the development of conditional thinking skills. Recommendations for teaching practice include (a) serious consideration of including logic programming environments in the school curriculum, (b) developing optimum computing environments that foster all procedural thinking, declarative thinking, and conditional thinking skills, and (c) cultivating students' abilities to solve daily-life oriented problems with logic programming environments. |
