中文摘要 | 蔣臺灣海桐、蓮葉桐及恆春哥納香盆栽苗木予以斷水處理,觀察苗木全株葉片下 垂、半數葉片枯萎及葉片 90 %枯萎所需日數,測定各乾旱階段葉部黎明前水勢,並記錄各 階段苗木重獲供水後多久可萌發新葉,由此判斷該三樹種適應乾旱環境的能力。結果發現三 樹種苗木在半數葉片枯萎之際, 黎明前水勢已達 -1.5 MPa,此時尚未枯萎之葉片重獲供水 後, 於 2 至 5 天內可恢復膨挺,超過此種乾旱程度葉片即不能恢復膨挺。 各苗木葉片在 90 %枯萎階段,黎明前水勢已達 -1.8 至 -2.1 MPa,此階段三樹種苗木重新澆水後均全部 能成活長出新葉,但三樹種萌發新葉時間差異很大。臺灣海桐葉片在斷水過程最快枯萎,但 它也最快萌發新葉;恆春哥納香枯萎最晚,顯示本樹種控制水分散失能力較佳,但其新葉萌 發需時較久;蓮葉桐葉片枯萎及恢復萌發新葉時間居中,但該樹種遭嚴重水分逆境時葉片大 量掉落,另二樹種並不如此,其重獲供水後萌發新葉的株數也較另二樹種多,此種良好的萌 發新葉能力應視為有利的耐旱機制。 |
英文摘要 | Potted seedlings of Pittosporum formosanum. Hernanadia sonora and Goniothalamus amuyon were subjected to water withholding treatments and then reirrigated. Predawn water potential and the number of days needed for turgor lost in all leaves as well as for 50% and 90% of total number of leaves had withered were observed. In addition, mumber of days for refoliation in seedlings at each stage were recorded. It was found that the predawn water potential had reached -1.5 Mpa, at the time when 50% of total number of leaves had withered in all three species. After reirrigated, their unwithered leaves could regain turgor pressure in 2 to 5 days. At the time when 90% of the total number of leaves had withered, the predawn water potential had reached -1.8 to -2.1 MPa. Although all three species showed refoliation upon recovery of plant water status, the refoliation rates were different. Leaves of P. formosanum were the earliest to wither, yet were the first to refoliate. Leaves of G. amuyon were the latest to wither, meaning that this species has better ability in controlling water Ioss, yet the new leaves needed more time to refoliate. The time needed for leaves of H. sonora to wither and to refoliate were in between those of above two species. However, large amount of leaves of H. sonora had fallen when subjected to severe drought condition. The number of seedlings which exhibited refoliation was more in H. sonora than in the other two species. This better refoliation ability could be very beneficial for plants in adapting to drought environment. |
