| 中文摘要 | 本研究就二維碳-碳複合材料、三維碳-碳複合材料及石墨三種材料,在 不同能量範圍內的磨潤行為作一比較,同時研究碳潤滑層在磨擦界面生成與損 傷、微細組織與基面(basalplane)的排列對磨潤行為的影響。 磨耗實驗以盤對盤(disk on disk)的磨耗方式進行,改變不同的磨耗條件以比較三 種材料的磨耗行為,同時以掃描式電子顯微鏡觀察經不同磨耗條件的試片表面顯 微組織的變化,以及以X光繞射儀分析各類材料的石墨化程度及經不同磨耗條件 後,磨耗表面碳潤滑層基面的變化情況。 實驗結果顯示:在相同的磨耗條件下,磨耗初期磨耗量以二維碳-碳最大,三維碳- 碳次之,石墨最小,隨著磨耗時間的增加,三種材料的磨耗量皆會漸增最後各趨 於一穩定值。從X光分析中發現,經磨耗測試後,三種材料的d002值有增加的趨 勢。而碳潤滑層的形成有緩和磨耗的作用,此作用可合理解釋磨耗量漸趨一穩定 值之實驗結果。 |
| 英文摘要 | The present paper reports the low-energy wear behavior of two-dimensional (2D) and three dimensional (3D) PAN-pitch based carbon-carbon composites as well as a commercial bulk graphite. The current results indicated that, under the same conditions, the 2D composite at all times had a larger weight loss than the 3D composite and the bulk graphite. During the first few minutes of wear, the weight loss of the 2D was an order of magnitudehigher than those of the other two materials. With increasing time, the wear rate of the 2D kept decreasing and eventually approached to a level comparable to the other two materials. Scanning electronmicroscopy showed that the formation of a debris film was critical to the wear behavior of all three materials. Once a smooth, adherent and uniform debris film was developed on the sliding surfaces, the wear rates dropped at the same time due to a lubricative effect. The much larger wear in the wear-inperiod, for the 2D composite, might be explained by the quick formation of the powdery debris which presumably escaped more easily from the sliding surfaces. The wear-induced increase in d002 values for all the three materials indicated that the alignment of the basal planes near sliding surfaces was getting worse during wear, |
