英文摘要 | The PU prepolymers were prepared by reacting macroglycols (PTMG, polytetramethylene glycol, Mn= 2000) with MDI (4,4'-Diphenyl methane diisocyanate), then further coupling with different couplingagents Bisphnol A (Bis-A) or 4,4'-diamino-diphenyl sulphone (DDS). These PU prepolymers were used to modify the epoxy resin with HT-976 as a curing agent. The curing reaction of epoxy was detected by DSC. From the results, it was shown that the exothermic peak went toward a higher temperature on the addition of PU prepolymer indicate a change in the rate of reaction of epoxy with the curingagent. From the light microscopy, it was found that the phase-separation process was favored by increasing the fractional conversion of the epoxy matrix. The scanning electron microscope shown that the stress-whitening zones of the postfailure appearance could be clearly seen. From the β-relaxation of dynamic mechanical analysis shown, the Bis-A as a coupling agent was more significant in PU phaseseparation and toughness than that of DDS. |
