中文摘要 | 由臺灣地區六十年來推廣的主要稉稻品種中,逢機選出三十六個品種,探討彼等在低氮肥用量的條件下之穀粒產量及其構成因素的表現。就穀粒產量而言,無論在第一或第二期作均呈現顯著的品種變異性;但各品種之產量的高低順位在兩期作間並不一致。隨著品種的更替,品種的特性有穗數增多、每穗穎花數減少、充實粒數增多的趨勢;即品種朝向穀粒積儲擴大的方向演進。這些品種在低氮肥下,兩期作均以積儲容積為產量的主要限制因子。由產量與各構成要素間的相關分析顯示,產量構成因素的相對重要性在第一期作以穗數較多為重要,第二期作則以每穗穎花數較為重要。此外,在第一期作,由於氣候環境較有利於水道的生育,以乾物質產量與收獲指數較高的品種產量較高;而在第二期作,氣候環境與低氮肥均不利於水稻生育,為有乾物質生產力較高品種才能獲致高產。 |
英文摘要 | Thirty six Japonica rice varieties randomly selected from those released in Taiwan during the past 60 years were grown under low nitrogen input in the second of 1985 and in the first crop season of 1986. Significant varietal variation of grain yield was detected in both seasons. The ranked orders of grain yield of these test varieties were not consistent between the two crop seasons, however. As the varieties being released, there appeared to have been a chronological tendency of increase in ripen grain number per plant together with an increase in panicle number per plant and a decrease in spikelet number per panicle. These varieties seemed to have evolved toward an enlargement of yield sink during the history of rice breeding in Taiwan. On the other hand, the size of yield sink truned out to be the limiting factor to grain yield under low N input in both crop seasons. It revealed, from an analysis of correlation among grain yield and its component traits, than panicle number was the most influential component in the first crop season, while in the second crop season spikelet number per panicle seemed to be main determinant. Besides, owing to the compensatory effect of the favorable climatic condition in the first crop season, the varieties of higher grain yield tended to be those with higher total dry matter yield and large harvest index. In the second crop season, however, only those varieties with high productivity of dry matter might give acceptable grain yield due to the joint effect of unfavorable climate and low N input. |
