中文摘要 | Ti-Ni系形狀記憶合金在熱作時及冷作後之製程退火,將因與空氣接觸而 造成氧化,若過度氧化將損及機件之功能和尺寸,氧在TiNi相中之固溶量甚低, 絕大部份形成氧化物,因而本研究利用試片氧化時之重量增加及形成氧化物種 類,推算出氧化層厚度,作為氧化程度的評估依據。 氧化過程亦是一種原子的擴散過程,為方便同時說明氧化溫度及時間之關係,以 氧化母曲線參數M=T(C+log t)來描述(T=K;t=hr;C=constant),即相同之M值具有相同 程度之氧化,但一M值可有無限之溫度及時間組合。實驗證實Ti-50atNi SMA在空 氣中之氧化母曲線參數為M=T(11+log t),M值少於12,000時,將發生選擇性氧化, 氧化物為TiO�砥A例如800℃X1hr之氧化深度約為70μm,若M>13,500,氧化物仍 為TiO�砥A但同時發生選擇性氧化及內部氧化,而母曲線斜率陡升,亦即氧化急 速增加。 |
英文摘要 | The oxidation of Ti-Ni shape memory alloys (SMA) occurs at high temperature during hot working and annealing under atmosphere. An excessive oxidation of SMA parts is detrimental to their design functions and sizes. Since the solubility of interstitial oxygen in TiNi phase is very small, there action of oxygen with Ti-Ni SMA almost completely forms oxides. In this work, the oxide scale thickness was estimated according to the weight gains of oxidated specimens and the kind of oxide formed. Since oxidation process can be regarded as an atomic diffusion process, a master oxidatingparameter M=T (C+log t) can be introduced to describe the relationship of oxidation temperature and time. The level of M value represents the degree of oxidation. Deriving from experimental results, the master oxidating parameter of Ti-50atNi SMA M = T (11 + log t) can be obtained. Selective oxidation of Ti-Ni SMA surface occured if M value is lower than 12000. Oxidation at 800℃/1hr resultedin formation of 70μm thick TiO�� scale. If M> 13500, selective and internal oxidation occured simultaneously and the slope of the master oxidating curve increased sharply which implied a drastic increase of oxidation. |
