英文摘要 | The dynamic compliance and parametric degree of the three-jaw clamped thin wall cylindrical workpiece are large. These will cause the three-jaw clamped thin wall cylindrical workpiece to be easily excited. One method which can effectively suppress the chatter vibration of the thin wall cylindrical workpiece is developed in the present study. In this method we try to use the jig and sand to increase the stiffness coefficient and damping ratio of workpicec system. Initially the hammer testing was used to investigate the effect of the combination of the jig and sand on the dynamic compliance of workpiece system. From the investigation results, it is obtained that the proposed method which contains the jig and proper thickness of the filled sand can effectively decrease the dynamic compliance and parametric degree. And from a series of cutting experimental results, we proved that the developed method is quite effective on the chatter suppression of the thin wall cylindrical workpiece. |
