英文摘要 | The major contribution of this research included three parts: (1)the perturbation method is successfully applied in groundwaterresearch to quantify the leakage, and verified Hantush's leaky factorcompletely. (2) A theoretical model based on the Dupuit-Forchheimertheory is developed for this leaky system to evaluate the process. Inaddition, this study presents two different theoretical solutions, usinglinear, and non-linear models to determine the leakage distribution. (3)Results of experimental studies in a sand box are presented tosupport the theoretical concept. The main purpose of this research is to determine the leakagedistribution through the clay lenses in the rice paddy field. The claylenses underlying the root zone of the rice paddy field are treated asa thin leaky aquifer to simplify the system. Using a sand box toobserve the potential changes to estimate the leakage distribution. The rate of leakage is derived as a function of the characteristics ofthe aquifer and the horizontal distance under different boundaryconditions. |
