| 英文摘要 | Conventionally, seamless steels tubes were fabricated by rolling and piercing while seamed steels tubes were formed by rolling along with welding of plates. On the other hand, aluminum tubes either in seamed or seamless form were made by extrusion due to good formability of aluminum alloys. In this study, we controlled the aging temperature in an attempt to understand its effect on the mechanical of extruded and drawn 6061 aluminum tubes. Our results reveal that seamed and seamless tubes exhibit similar ultimate strength due to the optimum die design of seamed tube extrusion, but the expanding ratio of seamless tubes were lower than that of seamed tubes as the result of the sensitivity of tubing with regard to the die line under the same heat treatment conditions, the variation in microhardness of seamed and seamless tubes was insignificant. |
