| 中文摘要 | 休息代謝率(resting metabolic rate)占人體能量代謝中極重要的部份,以往常用的預測公式與我們在18位年輕男子身上以間接型熱量測定術(indirect calorimetry)所測結果比較發現預測公式低估了13.9%至24.1%(其中與Harris-Benedict, Robertson-Reid, Owen及Cunningham公式差距之p0.05)。計算所得能量代謝比例與臺灣地區所作的食物成份報告十分接近,其中碳水化合物佔54.1±5.2%,脂肪佔27.7±4.3%。蛋白質佔18.2±2.8%。這些受測的年輕男子以電阻法測得的平均脂肪量佔全身體重約13.9%。由以上結論得知預估休息代謝率公式的準確性需再多作評估。 |
| 英文摘要 | Resting metabolic rate (RMR) accounts for a large component of daily energy expenditure. A clinical estimate of RMR is usually derived from a predication equation. In this experiment, indirect calorimetry was used to measure energy expenditure and fuels oxidation. Most of the predication equations underestimated measured RMR by 13.9% to 24.1% in 18 young Chinese males. (p<0.05 for Harris-Benedict, Robertson-Reid, Cunningham and Owen estimations, as compared with measured RMR). Percent fat mass was estimated at approximately 13.9% of body weight by bioelectrical impedance (BIA) measurements. The contribution of different fuels to whole body energy expenditure were estimated as (mean±SEM) carbohydrate 54.1±5.2%, fat 27.7±4.3% and protein 18.2±2.8%, which are well matched with those of reports from dietary survey in Taiwan. These results indicated that the prediction equations for RMR in young Chinese males deserve further evaluation. |
