英文摘要 | Stroke is a major cause of both death and disability in middle-aged and elderly people. Hypertension (HP)is the most important known risk factor for stroke. About 625 thousand people were involved from 25 researchareas of 15 provinces, municipal cities and autonomous regions of the high and low stroke incidence in Chinaduring 1990.9-1992.5 to study the effect of trace elements on HP. The trace elements Zn, Cu, Fe, Mn, andordinary elements Ca, Mg, K, Na in hair of 738 stroke-prone patients were determined with GGX-II AtomicAbsorption Spectrophotometer. It was found that the contents of Na, Zn, Fe, and Na/K, Zn/Cu in HP were significantly higher than those in critical hypertension (CHP) and control, while K, Ca, Cu and Ca/Mg were significantly lower than those in CHP and control. There was a significantly negative correlation between K, Ca,Ca/Mg and blood pressure (BP), while a significantly positive correlation between Na, Zn, Fe, Na/k, Zn/Cu andBP. BP is closely related with K, Ca and Na. (Tz'u-Chi Med J 1993; 5: 93-98) |
