英文摘要 | Due to the overlaps of B2�iR�iB19' phase transformations in equiatomic TiNi SMAs under stressed environments, thermodynamics of individual B2 �i R,R �i B19' and B2 �i B19' transformations under stress are not fully clarified. In this study the thermodynamic evaluations were made possible through a modification of TiNi alloy with copper addition, in which the individual phase transformations of B2 �i B19' were resolved. The phase transformations of Ti-Ni �Y -Cu �N alloy (in at.%) were investigated under a series of uniaxial tensile stresses. The transformation strains along with the electrical resistances of the test pieces were measured in the constant load thermal cycling test using a linear variable differential transformer and conventional 4-probe technique, respectively. Values of transformation enthalpy and entropy under stresses were calculated according to the Clausius-Clapeyron equation. The crystal structure transition in the stressed TiNiCu alloys were investigated by the in situ XRD. |
