| 英文摘要 | Attached diatoms, total bacteria count and Coliforms were used to asses the water quality of Fa Tse River. Samples were collected in August November and December 1989, at nine stations along the river. Total 16 genera and 40 species of attached diatoms were found. Nine saprophilous and six saproxenous species were identified according to Watanabe's classification. Diatom assemblage index (DAIpo) of each station, calculated based on the relative abundance of these species, were between 21 and 44. The numbers of total bacteria count per 100ml river water were between 1.3x10�間�33x10��. The numbers of coliforms were between 3.14x10�獺�7.96x10�� per 100ml. Fa Tsa River was considered mesosaprobic when evaluated with DAIpo or total bacteria count. However, the high coliform numbers indicated the river was heavily polluted by animal feces. |
