| 中文摘要 | 肺癌之組織分類,傳統上以其顯微鏡下之形態為根據,就如目前被廣泛使用之WHO分類;但是許多的肺癌腫瘤,其構成相當多變(heterogenous),因此,形態上的分類,往往相當分歧;因此,以各種單株抗體及免疫組織化學之方法,來研究肺癌組織之特徵,目前廣泛被應用,對於了解肺癌細胞之生物特性相當有幫助。中絲體(intermediate filaments)的表現,代表不同來源之細胞分化;如 cytokeratin代表上皮來源,Vimentin代表中胚層來源,而neurofilament則代表神經細胞來源,它們在肺癌組織出現情形,對明瞭肺癌的特性相當有用;因此,我們以這三種中絲體之單株抗體及免疫組織化學方法,來對80個手術切除之肺癌標本作研究,並將所得結果,與傳統上WHO之組織分類及UICC之肺癌病期分類來作比較;結果顯示,在80個肺癌標本,cytokeration之陽性率85.0%,Vimentin之陽性率為72.5%,而neurofilament之陽性率則為5.0%;而同時出現二種或二種以上中絲體,在各組織型肺癌均相當常見,其陽性率為66.3%(53/80);但在不同病期之肺癌組織,其中絲體之表現,則無顯著之差異;我們的結果可看出,不同組織型之肺癌,在中絲體表現上並無明顯差異,且同一肺癌組織常出現兩種中絲體,表示肺癌的起源可能是一種具有多重分化能力的原細胞。 |
| 英文摘要 | Eighty human lung tumors were examined immunohistochemically with three monoclonal antibodies (MoAbs) against the intermediate filaments (IFs): cytokeratin, vimentin and neurofilament. The results has been compared with the histological types and stages of tumor using the current WHO histological classification and UICC staging systems. In this study, the coexpression of intermediate filaments was common in all histological types, which was present in 66.3% (53/80) of the cases of lung cancer. The expression of intermediate filament was not significantly different according to the stage of the tumor. The results indicates that a close relationship exists among the different histological types of lung tumor. The origin of lung cancer cells is possibly from a common pluripotential stem cell. |
