| 英文摘要 | Tumor cells injected subcutaneously (s.c.) into the anterior region of the trunk of nude mice demonstrate strikingly that tumor growth and development are much greater than for same cells inoculated posteriorly. The growth rate of tumors obviously appeared to be fully dependent on transplanted site differences, but independent of the tumor types used and the sex differences. On the one hand, anteriorly growing tumors, in contrast to those transplanted posteriorly, are better vascularized, show less necrosis, and their local tissues appear better infiltrated, as well. On the other hand, they are independent of their histogenitic and morphological characteristics. We concluded that the regional vascular supply is a key factor affecting the biological behavior of the transplanted tumors. The results are important both in terms of practical considerations for developing adequate tumor transplantation and treatment protocols and in terms of biological significance in relation to induced oncogenesis. |
