中文摘要 | 國民小學級任教師的工作向來繁多;在校時間長、班級學生眾多、學生作業堆積、學生事項處理不完、工作環境不甚理想,各種儼件設備都無法妥善配合,日積月累之下必然影響至為深遠。因此本研究特別探討國民小學級任教師的工作負擔及其影響,歸納下列數點以為深思、檢討與改進: (1)級任教師每週上課約在26至32節之間,平均每天要上5至6節。另外每日要花約1.5小時來批改作業,約1小時來處理非教學性事務。 (2)57%的級任教師認為每班學生數應在21至30人之間,而全國國民小學平均的班級學生數為43人。 (3)34%的級任教師參與晨會時是邊做教學之事,因此50%的級任教師希望每三天開一次晨會,而61%的級任教師則要求每次晨會的時間不超過十分鐘。 (4)30%的級任教師利用午休時間來處理教學事務,9%則在處理行政事務。 (5)25%的級任教師經常在放學後留下處理有關教學的事務。 (6)74%的級任教師認為學校工作負擔過重,無法在上班時間內完成。而42%的級任教師認為學校工作中最重的是行政事務,40%認為是批改作業。 (7)38%的級任教師當身體有嚴重不適時仍是抱病教學。 (8)60%的級任教師對學生在教學回饋的表現上表示了不滿的態度。而有33%的級任教師對自己目前的教學心態是覺得壓力極大。 (9)87%的級任教師認為成立類似教師工會的組織可以發揮積極的功能,爭取並保障教師的權益。 (10)16%的級任教師認為一有其他適當的工作就會離開現職,10%則是走一步算一步。 |
英文摘要 | The workload of elementary home room school teachers has always been extremely heavy, although teachers have reacted for a long time, but it has not gained the attention of the general publice. This is a questionnaire study of 1848 school home room teachers to understand their workload and its effects. The results are as fellow: l. According to their teaching schedules, 50% of the home room teachers teach 26-30 class sessions each week and 36% teach over 30 class sessions. 2. 42% of the home room teachers spend about 1.5hours a day preparing their classes, 51% spend more than 1 hour a day correcting homework and 28% spend more than 2 hours a day and 20% spend 1 hour a day on non-teaching duties. 3. 57% of the home room teachers feel that the class size should be 21-30 pupils. Whereas the average of the class size is 43 pupils now. 4. 34% of the home room teachers prepare their teaching things when participating the morning meeting. 50% of them hope the morning meeting could be held every 3 days and 61% feel the meeting should not be held over 10 minutes. 5. 30% of the home room teachers used their lunch break for work related to teaching and 9% used the time for administrative work. 6. After school, 25% of the home room teachers still stay to do work. 7. 74% of the home room teachers feel that they can not complete their work during school hours, 42% of them feel that administrative duties are their greates burden, 40% feel that the next greatest burden is correcting homework. 8. 38% of the teachers go to work even when they are very ill and 52% had not taken a single day off in the previous semester. 9. 60% of the home room teachers are not satisified with students' feedback, 33% of them feel the teachers' preassure are very heavy. 10. 87% of the home room teachers belived that there is a need for a teachers' union to increase the channels to win their rights and to improve unreasonable envinonment. 11. 16% of the home room teachers feel they will leave the present job whenever they find another good one, while 10% of them will see. |
