英文摘要 | This study of current brain research sought to detect the brain-functioning theories and to draw conclusions which could be applied to the improvement of children’s education from the research findings are results. In this paper, the review of related literature was summarized into three sections, including (1) the structure of the brain; (2) brain growth and development; and (3) hemispheric dominance of the brain. Additionally, the implications of brain research for the education of children were discussed over the following subtopics: (1) children’s learning capacities; (2) the differences of children’s cognitive styles; (3) developmental perspectives; (4) the school curriculum; (5) teaching strategies; (6) testing and measurement; and (7) special education for brain-injured children. |
