英文摘要 | Upgrading resid with existing FCC (Fluid Catalytic Cracking) unit can not only solve the resid surplus problem, but also enhance economic gains and gasoline octane number. A correlation model is developed to maximize resid blending percentage and gasoline octane improvement with minimal dwindling effect on gasoline yield. Model prediction shows that the best operating strategy for reisd processing is to maximize catalyst/oil ratio and coke yield within the unit limitations while minimizing the necessity of preheating. The catalyst changeover policy of a low coke-make catalyst was optimized in the commercial unit uided by the model prediction to further escalate resid blending percentage and octane enhancement. Both the operating strategy and yield prediction estimated by the model have been successfully verified by commercial runs. |
