中文摘要 | 本研究是以臨床診斷法,利用具體物件給兒童操作進行個別訪談,探索台東市兒童序列(seriation)結構的發展情形。訪談的對象 (subjects),是台東市四足歲到八足歲兒童。取樣只考慮年齡因素,不考慮學前教育經驗、性別、種族、及家長社經地位等因素。訪談的工具及程序是利用愛荷華大學科學教育中心,Phillip教授所發展出來皮亞傑式訪談的工具及程序,不作任何修改。 根據訪談記錄的兒童反應,分析其反應階層(response categories)後,發現台東市兒童序列結構的發展,到了七至八歲已發展完成(就處理長度序列問題而言),和皮亞傑學派三十年前的研究結果一致。我們也可以看出,台東市的兒童在進入小學一年級時(六足歲至七足歲間),有一半的兒童他們的序列結構,即第一個邏輯組合(logical grouping)結構來發展完成。因此,學前教育應增加兒童實際操作具體物件的經驗,來增進他們邏輯思考能力的發展,才是提昇學前教育品質的正途。 |
英文摘要 | The intent of this study was to investigate the possible condition of the development of seriation structure among children in Taitung City. Data were collected by using Piage-tian type oral interview task, and this task and interview procedures were developed at the University of Iowa and inseminated in Iowa state. The subjects interviewed were kindergarten and elementary school children, age between 4 to 8, other factors, such as sex, race, socio-economic status of parents, and experiences in preschool were not to be considered. From the data collected, the response categories were analyzed, the results showed that most children (91% up to age 7 to 8, the seriation structure ( for solving the problems of length seriation only ) Was developed completely. But according to the data also indicated that almost 50% first graders were still in transitional stage. This information gave us an implication that, for preschool children, the teaching activities should emphasize on their manipulation of concrete objects individually, and this kind of activities will permit children to obtain a lot of concrete experiences to help their construction of cognitive structures. |
