英文摘要 | Vapor pressure behavior of nonpolar and slightly polar substances has been modeled according to the linear expression□. Two correlatable parameters are then generalized by the acentric factor and parachor combined empirically in a polynomial expansion. This generalized treatment has been applied to 35 chemicals in the 0.001-2 atm region to yield an overall average deviation of 6.32% (395 points) and is superior to the methods of Miller (7.73%), Thek-Stiel (7.45%) and Nath et al. (6.72%). The proposed method requires a knowledge of only the critical pressure, critical temperature, acentric factor and preacher and is recommended for rapid estimation of liquid vapor pressures in the low range. |
