中文摘要 | 本研究以單過羧酸基鄰苯二甲酸(MPPA)對苯乙烯(SBS)及苯乙烯-異戊二烯(SIS)三團聯共聚物進行環氧化反應,文中比較其在不同溶劑中,四種溫度下的反應速率受組成影響之差異。同時以改造之粘度計裝置測定環氧化反應過程之相對粘度變化。再與動力學測量結合成換算粘度變化,以瞭解氧化反應時,高分子之構形變化。 在氯仿溶劑中的反應比在二氧六圜者有更快的反應速率及較低的反應活化能,文中以分子交互作用及高分子構形因素來解釋。溶劑證實可影響環氧化反應過程中,鏈結之擴張或收縮。 本文也發現在長期攪拌下,環氧化生成物的不安定性,其劣解過程亦可藉改造粘度計追蹤,且其趨勢與凝膠層析法所測之相對分子量變化極為一致。 |
英文摘要 | The rates of epoxidation of styrene-butadiene and styrene-isoprene triblock copolymers with 0-monoperoxyphthalic acid were measured at four temperatures in solvents of different thermodynamic properties. Viscometry in a modified viscometer was performed and combined with kinetic measurements to monitor the conformational change during epoxidation. Chloroform was found more effective to expedite the reaction than dioxane and hence suggested a lower activation energy for the reaction in solvent containing chloroform. Explanations were given herein. Solvent also influences the conformational change of polyenes during epoxidation, and expanding and contracting of macromolecular coils during the reaction were observed. Instability of highly epoxidized styrene-butadiene copolymers was observed after long-term agitation. This degradation process was also successfully followed by viscometry and verified by GPC molecular weight analysis. |
