| 英文摘要 | The steam from a boiler can be used as a heating source, or to drive equipments. The overall thermal efficiency for these uses is, however, less than 50%. An improvement in thermal efficiency during this kind of utilization of processing steam is required for energy conservation. When the quantity and quality of processing steam are specified, two paths to approach energy conservation may be chosen: the adaption of a cogeneration system by using high-pressure steam boiler or by the addition of a supplemental steam superheater. Either of these design schemes can increase the efficiency of a steam boiler, but the design of a new steam system must consider many factors, for example, investment cost, system design, operating and maintenance cost. These factors must be considered and an economic evaluation must be made before a new design can be implimented. The feasibility of integrating energy in a steam boiler mainly depends on the requirements of each individual processing unit utilizing the steam. |
