中文摘要 | 本實驗的目的在探求口服活性碳對茶鹼(theophylline)清除率的影響。六位受檢者在兩次實驗中分別給予靜脈注射氨基菲林(Aminophylline)8mg/kg,第二次實驗在氨基菲林注射完畢時馬上口服30克之活性碳,而後每隔兩小時口服30克活性碳,行3次,同時抽取2cc靜脈血,以高效率液相層析法(High pressure Liquid Chromatography)測其血中茶鹼濃度。結果顯示:氨基菲林在血中半衰期從6.62±1.58小時降到3.21±0.90小時。清除率從94.74±19.45ml/kg/hr增加到151.13±44.69ml/kg/hr。由之結論,口服活性碳能增加身體對氨基菲林的清除率。對氨基菲林中毒或提供了一個簡便之治療方法。 |
英文摘要 | The therapeutic dose range of plasma concentration of anti-brochospasm drug (theophylline) is relatively narrow (approximately 10 to 20ug/ml). The purpose of this study was to determine whether the oral administration of activated charcoal would increase the clearance of theophylline. Six normal male subjects received aminophylline intravenously (8mg/Kg) on 2 separate days. On day 1 starting immediately after the completion of the aminophylline infusion, subjects ingested' 4 doses of a slurry of activated charcoal (30g each) at 2-h intervals. On day 2 received no charcoal. Plasma theophylline levels were determined by High Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) every 2h right after the completion of the intravenouse infusion. The administration of charcoal reduced the half-life of theophylline from 6.62+1.58h to 3.21+0.90h. We concluded that orally administered activated charcoal significantly enhanced the clearance of theophylline and offered a new therapeutic modality for the treatment of theophylline toxicity. |
