中文摘要 | 在均聚合抑制反應中,分別以hydroquinone與p-tert-butylcatechol為抑制劑,以AIBN為起始劑,以苯乙烯和甲基丙烯酸甲酯為單體,利用膨脹計法在50℃至70℃間五個反應溫度,測得抑制時間來檢視理論所得的動力式,發現與理論所得動力式極為吻合,對同一單體而言,p-tert-butylcatechol的抑制能力比hydroquinone強;對同一抑制劑而言,甲基丙烯酸甲酯的被抑制能力比苯乙烯強,我們得到一結論:酚類抑制劑為一electron-rich的分子,其抑制能力隨著其在苯環上取代基推電子能力的增強而增強,也因其為electron-rich的分子,故其對electron-poor的單體抑制能力比electron-rich單體強,抑制時間受溫度影響極大,因為抑制時間與起始反應速率成反比。 |
英文摘要 | Inhibition mechanism and kinetics for antioxidant inhibitor which can function only in the presence of oxygen in the homopolymerizations of styrene and methyl methacrylate (MMA) are proposed. Experimental studies of the homopolymerizations with hydroquinone (HQ) and ρ-tert-buytl catechol (TBC) as inhibitor at 50-70°C show good fitting to the equations proposed. For the same monomer, TBC has inhibition power higher than HQ: and for the same inhibitor, MMA has higher tendency to be inhibited than styrene. It is concluded that phenolic type inhibitor is of electron-rich and has increased inhibition power with increasing the ability of electron pushing of the substituent of the benzene ring. It has higher inhibition power for electron-poor monomer than for electron-rich monomer. The inhibition time is highly dependent on the temperature, for it is inversely proportional to the initiation rate. |
