中文摘要 | 黍蚜(Longiunguis sacchari Zehntner)為本省高粱之主要害蟲。本 研究目的在探討黍蚜棲群田間發生情形、高粱品種(系)對黍蚜之抗性反應,非偏 好性反應以及高粱抗性之遺傳行為。田間黍蚜發生調查顯示,田間只要有感性品 種存在,則黍蚜幾乎週年均可發生,且其發生高峰適值春作抽穗期及秋作生長、 抽穗期,對高粱品質及產量影響至鉅。十一個高粱品種(系)測定結果,2R、5R及 HB37受害等級均低於1.8屬抗性品系。台中五號為中抗品系,其他HB31、47R及57R 屬中感品系;78A、80B、16R和台中三號則為感性品系。三種偏好性測定方法測定 顯示,黍蚜對抗,感高粱品系之偏好具顯著之差異,抗蟲品種(系)2R、HB37、5R 及中抗之台中五號均較感蟲品系47R、HB31、78A、80B、16R及台中三號為黍蚜所 非偏好。試驗證實高粱品種(系)之抗性表現與黍蚜之非偏好性有密切關係。以苗期 集團測驗法(BULK SEEDLING TEST)測定80A、2R(台中五號親本源)及其F1、F2雜交 後裔,顯示抗性親本2R對黍蚜之抗性似由一對顯性基因所控制。另以黍蚜圈罩試驗 (aphids confinement test),由黍蚜棲群數目之分佈指出,2R對黍蚜具高度抗生性, 具其以單一顯性基因控制對黍蚜之抗性;建議此基因符號記為Sal。 |
英文摘要 | The sorghum aphid, Longiunguis sacchari Zehntner, is one of the major pests of grain sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench) in Taiwan.The purposes of the present investigation were: (1) to investigate the seasonal change of population density of the sorghum aphid in the field; (2) to seach the sorghum lines having resistance to sorghum aphid; (3) to determine non-preference of several sorghum lines to this aphid; and (4) to understand the inheritance of resistance in the sorghum line 2R. The sorghum aphid always exist during whole year while the susceptible sorghum variety supplied sufficiently in the field. The population density of sorghum aphid increases at heading stage of spring crop and at growing stage as well as heading stage of fall crop, that give reverse effects to sorghum quality and yield. Eleven sorghum lines were evaluated for resistance to the sorghum aphid. Selections from 2R, 5R, and HB 37 sustained the least damage grade (1.8) and were regarded as resistant lines. Several other lines including Taichung No. 5, HB 31, 47R, 57R had significantly less damage grade than that of susceptible lines 78A, 80B, 16R and Taichung No. 3, ranging from 4.7 to 5.5. The resistant lines 2R, HB 37, 5R and moderately resistant line Taichung No. 5 showed less preference than the susceptible lines. This results provided pevidence that the presence of resistant sorghum lines was closely related to the non-preference of the sorghum aphid. The inheritance of resistance in sorghum to the sorghum aphid was studied by using bulk seedling test, i. e. 3-leaf-old seedlings were infested with fourth- and fifth-instar nymphs of the sorghum aphid, in net rooms. Tests with F1 and F2 progenies of 80A x 2R, parents of new variety Taichung No. 5, revealed that resistance in line 2R was conditioned by a single dominant gene which was designated as Sal. Results of aphid confinement tests on 80A, 2R, and the F2 seedlings of 80A x 2R were not only indicating that the resistant parent 2R with high degree antibiosis to sorghum sphids but also supporting that 2R with a single dominant gene to control the resistance to them. |
